This in my eyes along side Arjen Robben of Chelsea have to be the buys of the 2004/05 season. In Gabriel's first season with United he has shown what World Class Defending is all about and the fans have just gone mad about him. I know it is early days but If Gabriel Heinze can keep this kind of form up he will become another one of Fergie's Manchester United Legends. It was very sad to see Gabriel miss the 2005 FA Cup Final against Arsenal, I thought he was one of maybe six players in the United Team what deserved a shirt for that game. Heinze was injured in a UEFA Champions League match with Villarreal on the 13th of September and was out of first team action for the rest of the 2005-06 season. United suffered a dip in form in Heinze's absence but this is all history now and Gabriel Heinze was back in form for Argentina in the 2006 World Cup.
