About Emile Heskey
Birthplace : 11.1.78. Leicester
Height : 6ft 2
Weight : 13st 11
Position : Forward

Emile Heskey may not yet be the nation's top striker but if he can maintain his form and progress of the last three seasons he will become a fantastic striker.
Heskey's pace, power, and strength make him one of the most awkward strikers for the Premiership's top defenders, and last season he gave more than one centre-half a nightmare. Strangely, however, for a player who possesses all the natural assets a striker could wish for, Emile Heskey joined Leicester as a defender. Youth team coach David Nish soon realized, though, that the youngster's ideal position was up front. And once Heskey had been thrown into first-team action - making his debut against QPR in March 1995 - he rapidly made himself indispensable.
Emile Heskey helped The Foxes win promotion in his first full season and the following year, 1996/97, was even better as he rifled in a career-best 12 goals, including the last-ditch Wembley equalizer in the Coca-Cola Cup Final against Middlesbrough.
If, in his first full season at Liverpool, he continues to instill fear into Premiership defences with his lethal combination of brute force, searing pace and a deceptively skillful touch, then there's no reason why Emile Heskey cannot establish himself as a regular international. In my eyes the best stricker for liverpoolfc in the 2000/01 season which sore Liverpool back to there very best winning 3 cups,LFC are back to were they should be at the very top and Emile Heskey is one of the key players whicn has made this turn around posible.
But on The Downside Emile by his standards had a poor World Cup in 2002 and was hot and cold for Liverpool and with the arrival of new players like Wayne Rooney for England Emile Heskey will have to work his socks off to keep his place.
